Eco Custom Homes President, Jeffrey Dinkle (LEED-AP), is committed to providing practical consultation on energy saving materials and ecologically friendly construction. He can serve as a valued neutral party for those building a home, starting a renovation, or constructing a commercial space where people will be working.
Jeff has provided expertise on the development and marketing of Green Building products to numerous companies. Among these are Columbia Forest Products and IDEO. He enjoys giving talks on Green Building focusing on what is cost-effective in the industry. Down to earth and practical, he likes to explore and then exploit what really works well. Jeff is also on the advisory board for Builder’s News Magazine, consulting on numerous sustainable topics. A number of publications have published interviews with him including Atlanta Gas Light, Builders Magazine, Lake Living, and Atlanta Homes & Life Styles.
Recognizing the growing interest in Green building, Jeff wants to remain on the forefront of consumer education in this exciting industry. Each year he picks a different community outreach program to further educate Atlanta on sustainable techniques. 2008 saw the creation of “The Eco Playhouse” benefiting Home Aid Atlanta. In 2009 it is the ASHO project using ISBU (shipping containers) for affordable housing, a project of the Community Design Center of Atlanta.
