1890s Decatur Home
This late 19th century home was converted into a multifamily rental property in the 1970s ruining many of the period details. Our goal was to restore it back into a period appropriate yet fully modern and sustainable single family home. We performed a limited deconstruction exposing the original 12-foot ceilings and revealing a pair of pocket doors. We also salvaged two claw foot bath tubs and most of the windows. The home now looks original both inside and out but with a modern lifestyle in mind.

1920s Kit Home
This craftsman cottage was purchased in a dilapidated, but original condition from the daughter of the first owner of the home. It came with all interior details, including gravity floor furnaces and knob and tube wiring. Our goal was to keep the house as original as possible, but to replace and reconfigure its floor plan and systems to modern standards. This home is located in the historic Oakhurst District of the City of Decatur.

1926 Stone Cottage in Historic Grant Park
This cottage was in very poor condition with bad water damage to the living room floor. We replaced the sub floor and floor joists and salvaged much of the original hardwood floors, with reclaimed white oak flooring being used as a match when we couldn't.
We found that this home had been a showpiece after we removed 20 years of back yard overgrowth revealing beautiful terracing and hardscaping.
